Walking in vocal art it is my writing that I wanted to deposit as a focal point of my path in a distant 2007.
Despite being a dated reflection, even today I resonate me, as it contains a thought and a very precise line on how I think and I act today in 2023, when I teach singing.
May 15, 2007, reflect on the importance of singing as a means of communication and on the fundamental role of the singing teacher in educating the students in an artistic path.
The teacher must not put limitations, but rather to discover the subjectivity of the student and create a unique path, based on the daily research of amazement, curiosity and the desire to get involved. It is important to instill the love for art and singing, encouraging the pupil to express one's thoughts and dialogue with his feeling.
Vocal art in my opinion is a continuous search for the balance between free artistic expression and technique -based strategies, in which the master has the task of stimulating students in a scrupulous but at the same time curious way, compatibly with his own limits and their own possibilities.
Humility in singing is fundamental, as well as listening to one's voice to discover its power.
The artist is always lonely, responsible for himself and lover of what surrounds him, but the singing teacher has a single philosophy and a single purpose: to make art every vocal expression he encounters on his path.
We try to teach the learners that we meet in our path the values of singing that we have decided to deliver, dialogue with them and sharing our examples of sacrifice and passion. Only in this way can the student be responsible and reach his "real dreams".
