Today we are talking about a population the ni-wintu
In the Southern Pacific Ocean there is a island state called Vanuatu where a population is residing mostly of Malanese called N-Vanuatu.
The inhabitants of Vanuatu are very close to the uses and customs of their ancestors.
There are many ceremonies that lead to ancient traditions in which dance, music, and narratives of legends intertwine with each other.
In the video that I propose today you can see an example of traditional ceremonies in which an aesthetic sense of this population also emerges for example the use of an ornament as red flowers in the hair.
Fascinating to note that among the inhabitants of these islands lost in the ocean, we find the figure of the circle as always.
In fact, men perform a circle through an energetic dance, while Call and Responses merge with the beat of the hands and feet.
Good vision!
