The freedom of improvisation: the inner journey that teaches you to create

This essay, to be understood more as testimony or confession, was born over a night and in the form of a dream. In the dream, you know well, the mind works for often illogical, unconscious associations.

It can be said that it is just as we sleep that our intellect is tense, like an arch, towards the large field of improvisation. For this reason, the present here is nothing more than an improvising act - I like to believe - capable of generating with these pages and expanding with you.

Understanding improvisation is vital. It is not only for the purpose of a school and musical path but also for a vision of life and everyday life.

So, the first question to ask me obviously: why is it important to improvise today?

It is important because improvisation is the key element that allows us to understand two things: freedom and inability.

Freedom is the first element that we must seek, desire and, even more, understand to let ourselves be invaded. It is the great field in which we move, without directions that indicate the way, therefore the ideal prerequisite for giving origins to expressiveness.
