On March 27, 2020 "The world in the lead" came out, the new album by Gegè Telesforo (twelfth of his artistic career)
H or met and known Gegè Telesforo in October 2011 in Ravenna, during the international conference of Foniatra and speech therapy " The artistic voice ", on that occasion we shared the stage, together with Albert Hera, to present the topic "Human Beatbox ".
I was kidnapped by his incredible rhythmic and musical mastery, by his sympathy, by the simplicity with which he presented his experience and his way of understanding and living music.
Singer, multi -instrumentalist, composer, television and radio presenter, producer, has a career full of important collaborations.
It is one of the most important and renowned Italian jazz voices, known above all for its improvisative qualities that it faces with a masterful use of the Scat and strong multi -ethnic influences.
In this regard, I propose this fun duet of 1989 together with Lucio Dalla, during the television broadcast of Gegè Telesforo "Doc". (Video 1)
In video 2 you can listen and see Gegè Telesforo together with Dizzy Gillespie and Tony Scott (visibly affected by the skill of the young Gegè).
In addition to all this, Gegè Telesforo was in the 1980s the pioneer of the Beatbox in Italy performing in his concerts and in his broadcasts vocal solos of battery with a jazz and funky flavor, demonstrating an incredible rhythmic and technique mastery.
