V ENTRY 11 December 2020 was released in radio rotation on all the streaming platforms "The Gift", the new single by Daniela Spalletta published by TRP Music.
"The Gift" is the supreme gift, life. It is the rediscovery of its intrinsic value, its light that conquers and heals, the meeting and the union of opposites. The musical evolution of the song, from Disney sounds, is a single and progressive growth. At the air and delicate, gradually more energetic and powerful, it becomes almost a tribal dance at the ending, in which the simple and essential melody of the song is grafted in the voluptuous design of the arches, all to underline the key image of the narrative, contained In the text and video clips: the flower that, despite everything, opens and blossoms.
Explains Daniela Spalletta about her new unpublished:
«I chose The Gift as a single, because in the general concept of the album it constitutes its center (it is in fact the fifth song of the album) and the keystone: the darkness that is shed light, the parts that become the whole, the pain that becomes love. The concepts of transformation, understood as spiritual evolution, are central to the disc, and The Gift embodies the moment of this awareness well: from The Gift onwards, the story of Per Apera to Astra changes in some way direction, in a musical sense and extramusical ».
The official video clip of the song, with text and music by Daniela Spalletta, directed by Francesco Di Martino and Giuseppe Portuasi, in which the Urban Fabula, a trio formed by Seby Burgio (piano), Alberto Fidone (double bass), Peppe Tringali (drums (battery (drums (battery) ), and the Trp Studio Orchestra, tells a story linked to the image of the flower that is born, slowly opens and finally blossoms.
The three characters we meet in history, the woman, the man and the child, represent the opposite forces, in perennial struggle within the human soul. Each of the three characters finds a part of that flower and this discovery pushes them to set off, in search of the missing parts, kept by others.
During the trip, each of them will come across some signs: places and people who will show them the road or invite them to change direction. In their wandering, the three will approach them several times, they will go by, but they will never be able to see each other really. Only at the end will they meet and look at each other: they will recompose the divided flower and the opposites will finally be united and harmonized in the whole.
The video was made under the patronage of the Municipality of Scicli who married the idea of promoting the territory through culture and author music.
