Silvia Bifeale specialized in Germany in 1998, following a three -year course and discussing a thesis, at the Institut Für Atemlehre of Oberstdorf as a therapist and pedagogue of the breath according to the method of Ilse Midandorf and subsequently, at the same institute, in "Atem -Tonus-ton ”as a voice therapist, with Maria Hoeller-Zangenfeind.
He attended specialization seminars with Ilse Midandorf, Jurg Roeffler and Ursula Schwendimann in Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Graduated Arbeits Forschungsgemeschaft - und für Atempädagogik/Atemtherapie (AFA) in 1998 and partner Berufsverband Für Atempädagogik (BVA).
He studied piano with Christian Cecere and singing with Catharina Kroeger and Eleonora Aleotti.
From 1996 to 2009 he worked at the CIMI, an Italian center of integrated medicine, carrying out individual and group therapies with adult patients with vertebral problems using relationships between breathing and spine, with patients with respiratory problems and patients with functionality disorders of the voice.
Currently this work continues at your private study.
He works with singers, musicians and actors on the relationship between breath and sound, on the body elements constitutive of the sound of the voice and the instrument. Since 2007 he began a study on the relationship between the body of the conductor and the sound of the orchestra.
Silvia Biferale has long been engaged in the research on the value of breathing as a constitutive element of the bodily self and on the corporeality of the voice understood as sound and resonance starting from primary experiences and their emotional and relational content. In this context he held for three years (2004-2006) therapeutic groups in collaboration with Rita Toti (psychoanalytic psychotherapist of the Sipp), with the supervision of Antonio Di Benedetto (Psychoanalyst SPI with traning functions). The result of this experience is the essay: S. Ciferale, R. Toti, The body of the voice, the voice of listening, which appeared in the online magazine "Psychomedia" on 20/02/2007.
Since 2000 he has taught "Breath-Movimento-Voce" in the national training courses intended for musicians and refresher seminars for kindergartens educators, held throughout Italy.
He has collaborated with various music schools and theater academies, such as the Teatro Due Mondi di Faenza (1999), with the Auditorium in Rome (2006), with the Opera Munfica Education of Turin (2008-2009), keeping seminars on the theme of breath and voice.
The Italian edition of the book of Ilse Midandorf "The experience of the breath" published by Astrolabio in 2005 (with a preface to the Italian edition of Ilse Midandorf) with Catharina Kroeger.
He taught "Body awareness techniques" at the Higher Institute of Music Studies Gaetano Braga in Teramo in the A.A 2008-2009.
He participated in the Campus delle Arti in San Gemini in 2009 in the "Musically" section, curated by dr. MarioVevillani, with a conference entitled "The rhythm of the breath".
He edited the conference “The child listening. Musical learning between sense and sensory ", held at the Auditorium of Rome on 3 and 4 December 2009, in which it also intervened with a relationship entitled:" Listening and movement: two sensory experiences "and took care of the documents of the conference published online by the Curci editions of Milan.

Since 2013 he has taught Atem-Monus-Ton®: the voice as coordination of breath, tone and movement in training courses for musicians and music teachers in Italy, Turkey, Switzerland and Portugal in the training projects of the audction institute.
Member of the International Atem-Moon-Summer® team together with Letizia Fiorenza, Christoph Habbeger and Sabine Seidel promotes the study and dissemination of Atem-Monus-Ton® throughout Europe and Japan with training courses and seminars.
In 2014 he published with Astrolabio: breathing therapy. From sensory experience to musical expression. A text that combines care with the artistic expression through the guiding thread of the breath. A meeting between ATEM-MONUS-TON® and Gordon's audiation.
In 2015 he published for the magazine "audiation": with the body you learn. The movement of the breath in the musical learning process.
